Romans 3:4 in the Bible states the following:
God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.We desire to lift up the Savior of all mankind, by holding to his word, according as he has written.
Salvation as offered in the Bible requires faith in Jesus Christ, according to the scriptures, while warning of false Christs.
When a man asked the apostle Paul how he could be saved, “they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.” (Acts 16:31).
Through the past 2000 years, religion has raised up man, offering some kind of work to do with his faith, or instead of his faith to access God. However, as Romans 3:4 says, let God be true, and every man a liar.
Salvation from sin comes by faith in Jesus Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection for our sins according to the scriptures (1 Cor 15).
Good works of any variety are not a part of salvation, but a fruit that springs from it.
